It translates into one huge ass speeding ticket and a roadside towing and probably impossible to insure for several years.

I've never buried the vic/marquis speedometers (at least in recent memory) that I've had in the car but it's gotten close. They're 200km/h - I've probably had it at 175 or something. Took forever to get there.

I've had mine come close to zero before. Pointing the needle straight down is easy. But mine reads kinda fast.

120 was the best so far, I haven't tried it with the new rear and exhaust. But it sure as hell gets to 80mph faster lol.

US Towncar speedos go to 85, but the needle physically stops against the shift indicator. I did that one night just to see if I could. Some jackass in an early rusty Honda Quaalude thought he was special. He was not. I did pass him easily, but I blew the heater core up in the process. I suppose in the end, he actually won because I had to replace the core that weekend, and the one I put in was bad so I had to do it again. F that business, not going that fast again.

I had my car up to 140KPH today before I realized I didn't want a $300+ speeding ticket.

Considering the highest speed limit in Canada is posted at 110, I figure I'll never need to have my car above 140 unless rushing someone to the hospital or something.
