Will These Fit??? update! tire question! again!

i have a 1986 grand marquis, will these fit as direct replacements? or do i need spacers?

    KEYSTONE - ARE CHROME STEEL 16" x 8" RIMS

    5 BOLT PATTERN: 5 X 4.5

    CENTER HOLE: 3 & 1/4"

    BACK SPACE: 5"

what size tires should i run on these rims? i havent the slightest clue!

Should work, although that backspacing is a little much...

will they stick out too far? or not far enough with the 5" backspacing?

all my previous vehicles were fwd so i'm just getting used to sizes and spacing for rwd!

            They shouldn't...
People run Mustang wheels with 1" spacers, giving a final BS of 4.72", so I think yours would clear.

tailgunners are good. i use a 1" spacer with my 99 cobra wheels, final backspacing is 4.72. You p.ssibly migt need a 1/4" or so.

255/60-16 will be just an inch taller than stock 215/70-15s, if you want to go wider there is 275/50-16 for you but it's as tall as the stock tires. Play with that here: http://www.eunos.com/tirecalc/

will 265/60/16's work on the rims and the car on the rear end? i'm gonna have to go wider on the front but i'm keeping the same height on the front, i don't think 215's will fit on an 8" rim.

i'm going for raised white lettering, it'll look badass!

Yeah, 215s will be too narrow for the front, go for 235/60-15. The 265s will do just fine in the rear, I run 255s on my stock turbines (6.5" wide), and you have 8"-ers - just put like a 1" spacer there to center the rim over the bolting plane and you'll be good.

I have run 275/60R15s on stock steelies...

They looked fat. But they fit.
