    Brake Booster

Alright. Going to buy a brake booster this weekend. My Saturday is completly free so I have nothing to do. I figured I'd install it myself. Yes I know, me.. I know.

Anyone have a good set of instructions they'd like to share or a website with step by step instructions?

Get a booster for a 1992+ Panther. It's smaller in diameter and will clear clutch cable, should you ever opt to go manual.
There are two bolts holding the brake reservoir to the booster and four bolts holding the booster to the pedal assembly inside the cab.
Make sure you remove the clip attaching the booster shaft to the brake pedal.
    It's easy.

1992 Explorer Eddie Bauer, slight lift, 34s, and A/C...

Eh I'm not going to go manual.

Smaller booster is better? Why? Because it's does the same exact thing and just takes up less space? (Simple as that?)

It bolts right on no mods?

        Bolts right on, no mods.
It's a decent bit thicker, but still a lot smaller.
Six bolts and the pin on the pedal.

Smaller space and clean it up is all. No performance difference, I don't think.
If it bothers you that much, just stick with the original design.

Get a good quality replacement. Seems the reman ones are problematic and tend to leak. They kinda suck to replace too, so you aren't gonna want to change it a bunch of times just to get a good one. You'll also want to make sure your master cyl isn't leaking. Probably just a good idea to replace it with the booster, as lots of times you get no warranty on the booster if the MC isnt changed.

I don't think it's leaking. The fluid never goes down.

That may be, but you will probably void your warranty on the booster if you don't replace the master cylinder.

Just save yourself the aggravation and replace the master cylinder when you do the booster.
