Take that MC off the booster and I'll bet you'll find funky signs of it leaking. It also might invalidate the warranty on the booster, and as frequently as those POS replacements fail, I would not risk it myself.

It is an it isn't. If you move the column shifter and it changes the sound of the his it is. You will hear a hiss under the dash if your foot is on the brake. I plugged my parking brake leak and than I went to go drive it and still herd a leak. Brake booster.
If your brakes sound like air brakes when you pump them it's the brake booster.1989 LTD Crown Victoria LX.

Yeah the parking brake release thing only makes noise when you mess with the shifter. Usually N will be quiet, OD will hiss. Hiss when on the brakes sounds like booster to me.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

Hmm. Now I don't know if it's just coincidence or if it's just my intake. I got the new connection for the intake and it's sucking in more air. When I let off the gas (only when I'm dricing and certain speeds and such) I hear a hissing noise. I don't know if it's the intake, or it's coincidence and my brake boost is leakin rediculously now.1989 LTD Crown Victoria LX.

I was using the old rubber conection from the air box to the intake manifold. It was all bent and shit and wasn't getting all the air in. I got a simple straight one now and it's turned differently and sucks in more air.1989 LTD Crown Victoria LX.
