    How good is 47PSI??

    I got a solid 47 PSI of oil pressure hot. Is the REALLY REALLY good???

        In the upper 40's at idle is definitely healthy for a 302.

          I got 0-8psi for about three days. Then I parked it. I've been swapping motors since, thanks to assholes like you guys saying, "Oh- install this!" and I listen. Dicks.

          2011 Mustang GT Premium, MT82, Kona/Saddle, HIDs, 3.73s, 19s, hood/side stripes, UPR 1.5" springs with adjustable panhard bar, and UMI solid LCAs and relocation brackets.
          1992 Explorer Eddie Bauer, slight lift, 34s, and A/C...
          1979 Bronco Custom, 351M/C6/NP205, 4" lift, 35s, lots of fender trimming.

            I'll let you know soon. I have to check mine and make sure I don't have a problem.

            I hope I just had a worn lifter and not an oil pressure problem.

              I idle at about 25-30 psi hot and thats a low mileage motor. Mine is really loose tho. All the clearances are within spec, but barely. 47 psi hot idle is pretty frickin awesome.
