OK, the other day when I was cleaning up and painting under the hood on the '91... I took the EGR valve off to repaint it... it looked terrible... well as luck would habe it... the plastic vacume tube going to the egr broke... so when I started the car up, the check engine light came on... I figured no big deal, it is because of the egr being disconnected.. and the resulting vacume leak.... So I fixed the egr vacume... reset the engine light... and now the thing came right back on... and WILL NOT go off!!!! So yesterday at work, we pulled the codes... here is what it said...
KOER
Code 12 cannot control RPM during self test high RPM check
Code 23 tps/ pedal position out of range
during self test
Code 94 secondary air system inoperative
Code 44 thermactor AIR sys
system inoperative
Code 35 evp sensor above max voltage
any ideas????
Would losing vacume to these cause all of this??? Seems funny that it would come on after the vacume hose thing....
And since i don't have a chiltons book on this car... where are these different items located so i can check and see if something maybe is unplugged???
The car runs fine.... just the damn light is driving me nuts!!!! Tom!
