4bbl intake, any duraspark distributor for a 302 (with the cast iron gear, mine if off a van but most say the one for a mustang) and all the duraspark shit..

Oh yeah, a 4bb carb, the lokar throttle cable, TV cable, and bracket...

I can probably think of more, but im tired lol

Is that a NJ license plate? Let's make some horse power. Do a complete tune up and put it on a dyno to get the baseline numbers. After that add a Weiand Stealth intake and a 600 cfm carb.

On a tired motor with miles I'd just put a 2bbl on it and call it a day. No intake manifold swap needed, just unbolt the CFI and slap on a 2150. Can probably even come up with a way to keep the TV rod on the 2150 if you get creative with it. The only other thing you'll need to deal with at that point is getting the fuel pressure right. Either remove the in-tank pump and make a pickup so you can run an electric or mechanical pump, or get one of those fancy dancy fuel pressure regulator things that uses the stock pump and return lines and lets you adjust the pressure the carb gets.

Really don't have to do anything creative with the 2 bbl, if you get an 81 t-bird carb, they came equipped with engines with AODs, so it would hook up directly. Like what gadget said, not really worth buying a bunch of expensive parts to put on a worn engine like that. The gains probably wouldn't be worth it

However, if you plan on eventually running another 302, buy the 4bbl parts.

Converting to Duraspark 2 on an 83 shouldnt be too hard.

Pick a shop and tell them you just want to get your baseline numbers. It should only cost you $50-$75.

If you want more power, get a new bottom end, and build a carb'd engine off of that.

Dyno it and see what your making now (only $50-75). 150,000 miles is a bit much. Do a leak down test too.

I take public transportation during the week and only drive on the weekends. I get great gas mileage!!! I don't worry about my car's MPG. When I get down to a quarter of a tank, I just fill it up again.

                          What's your gas mileage now?

The EGR valve is on the intake manifold. If you removed it, put it back. Believe it or not, you'll use more fuel with that unplugged than connected because the computer expects it to be there. Running with EGR actually will keep the engine from pinging too. I'd also suggest removing it and cleaning the EGR valve and spacer plate under the CFI unit along with a tune up if the plugs and wires and such are old.
