I remember DuceAnAHalf had some copper exhaust gaskets for sale some time ago, send him a PM for more info on them. Now you wanna hear something interesting - my car has no exhaust gaskets between the manifolsd and the block, none whatsoever. Thought that's kinda weird so even though there were no leaks I bought two gaskets and threw them in there - low and behold, leaks showed up. I was like, screw this, ditched the gaskets and went back to the no gaskets setup - been like that for about an year already, still no leaks at all. Go figure :dunno:

Most cast iron manifolds dont have gaskets from the factory.

All fixed today i brought a pair of flowtech aluminum gaskets for the headers.. they went on wit no problem i have the oval shaped wholes not the square ones. The only thing is those damn paper gasket get all stuck on and are a bitch to get off had to chip away and use a razor blade scraper. I soaked a lil carbcarb cleaner and degreaser on them to make em a lil softer. With teh BBK instructions they suggest you to use ultra copper hi-temp rtv with teh paper gaskets the rtv is resistant to heat up too 700 F

Yeah, the BBK gaskets are crummy...I used mr gasket ones and a bunch of high temp threadlock. From my experience with header gaskets the cause is usually a bolt backing out.

I had the square port coppers. leaked like crazy since i needed the oval port. I got a set of the Percy's XX Carbons. They are like felt, so far no leaks. I think i only paid like $15 for them

I use some flimsy stock gaskets I got with my flowtech headers.

I also had a set leftover from when I got the longtubes.

Haven't had a problem yet, and they didnt even blow out bad when I LOST a bolt.

Everyone says they have problems with header bolts backing out. My friend ends up with about half of his falling out. Im running the ARP exhaust bolts, and i never have them even loosen, let alone fall out.
