probably. They sell adapter plates for AOD applications for some carbs. Might check that out first before settling on a specific carb.

Not directly. At a minimum, you'll have to add some stuff for the rod to hook to, and probably do some tweaking on the rod itself for it to fit up. The throttle cable you might be able to make work but you'll have to figure how to mount up the bracket. The aftermarket cables do exist for this, but they are shitty in their own way. The little cable clamps that come with them are kinda feeble.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
