    So I finally did it...

    I ordered my wheels. I'm going to have to rebuild my tail pipes to clear the 9" wide wheels. Other than that it should be a bolt on and go upgrade. I'll post pics once I get them, though it will be a small time before I purchase some tires.

      Mine should have a little more lip as the one in the pic is a 17X8 and mine are 17x9

              1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt
              2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature. Stock for now
              1989 Ford F-250 4x4 much much more to come, sefi converted so far.

                    I'm going to take them off, sand down most of the light damage from the 30-40 years of used they have on them, wire brush the inside surfaces, polish the front surface to a shine, paint the inside edges aluminum, and clear coat the whole thing.

                    Then sell them.

                          I can't picture em on the car in my head, i'd have to see em photochopped on to tell you if I like em or not. But the wideness is better.

                              Well here is a pic of them on an old Mustang. I've tried photo chopping it but it just doesn't do it justice. I'm going against my opinion of a photochop and saying that they will look better than that in real life. They might not go too well with my color (almost certainly won't) but when I get a darker color on there it will go right with it.
