I think it little more additional lip you'll have will make them look a lot better than the photochop.

I'll let them sit around for a few months and if I don't clean them up then I'll sell them as is. But i'd really like to do a restoration to combat the price of the new wheels.

If you get around to that, do you think you'll be posting a thread on how you do it? I'm getting the idea that there are several of us with less-than-perfect older rims who could benefit if you want to be the guinea pig.

It's not a complicated process. I've done it before when I got them. I'll just do it with more sanding time, and paint and clear this time. The longest part is the cleaning and the polishings.

Did you ever see the pics of my wheels when I fist put them on? Believe you me, they did not look that good when I got them. It took a full days worth of wire brushing, and buffing wheel on a high speed drill to bring the set up to that par. I plan to bring these even farther.

No, I just got a great deal on that set, and when I got them I did a quick one day restoration on them.

yup, both those sets of wheels are bad ass. too bad you couldnt find a set of western-wheels styled ones in 16's blaze. and i think the other ones will look better in real life than photoshop, and maybe better on a darker color, though i am a big fan of the beige. might look good on a car the color of mine, though mines kinda bland. very cool

They didn't make those old turbine mag wheels in 16", or I would have got a set.

Yes, BOs wheels are custom or a different bolt pattern, because they did not make a 16" in ford bolt pattern.
