darn pretty far. our junkyards still full of lincolns with aod's.........have you found any mustang or ford aod's? it's not ideal but i have seen a few lincolns with ford aod's........also have seen 1" driveshaft flange spacers on ebay for about 20 bucks.......that's a pretty nice townie, it would suck to scrap it mang
check corral.net i have gotten lots of cheap parts there in the past.......hmm maybe even a t5 swap?
1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt

I've found 2 donors, an 88 tc but no response from the owner,and a 90's mustang tanny,but it was sold already. The junkyards I've called said they have no aod's, I didn't think to ask about any from mustangs or such.Originally posted by Lincolnmania View PostComment
