      darn pretty far. our junkyards still full of lincolns with aod's.........have you found any mustang or ford aod's? it's not ideal but i have seen a few lincolns with ford aod's........also have seen 1" driveshaft flange spacers on ebay for about 20 bucks.......that's a pretty nice townie, it would suck to scrap it mang
      check corral.net i have gotten lots of cheap parts there in the past.......hmm maybe even a t5 swap?

      1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt
      2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature. Stock for now
      1989 Ford F-250 4x4 much much more to come, sefi converted so far.
      1986 Toyota pickup with LSC wheels and 225/60/16 tires.
      2008 Hyundai Elantra future Revcon toad
      1987 TriBurner and 1986 Alaska stokers keeping me warm. (and some pesky oil heat)

        I've found 2 donors, an 88 tc but no response from the owner,and a 90's mustang tanny,but it was sold already. The junkyards I've called said they have no aod's, I didn't think to ask about any from mustangs or such.

          also thunderbirds and cougars to 93, some ford trucks, baby ltd's and marquis, like i said wish u were closer, i have a few vic aod's stashed.......did you check car-part.com?

            I'll have to check with the yards sometime soon then, also does the numbers on the bell housing mean anything? As in, mine has the numbers 32 stamped on it, and others seem to have different ones like 25 and 54.

              nope dont mean anything that i know of........as long as it's from a 3.8 v6 or a 302 or a 91 to march 92 4.6 (bastard block 4.6)

                Checked the site, the closest one is 140 miles away that's 300$..If I was closer I'd get it..
