          I think I was wrong above actually

          fuse link T (EEC in this case, one of the two) is a 16 gauge link, protecting a 12 gauge wire. max amps for a 12 gauge wire is 41?

                cool, thanks. i'm not going to have too much running through the fuse box but i see myself doing a lot of wire chasing and looming them up to look organized.

                i'd like to put the power windows through it like yours did but i don't know where the link is for them. did you replace a link or..?

                  It is on a circuit breaker bolted directly to the starter solenoid.

                    Yes, 16 is 4 less than 12.....
                    A 12 guage wire can take 60 amps and a 10 gauge wire can take 100A max. Ford uses a 10ga wire on 50A fused circuits.

                            Rear defrost has its own fuse link, at least on my car.
