cool, thanks. i'm not going to have too much running through the fuse box but i see myself doing a lot of wire chasing and looming them up to look organized.

i'd like to put the power windows through it like yours did but i don't know where the link is for them. did you replace a link or..?

It is on a circuit breaker bolted directly to the starter solenoid.

Yes, 16 is 4 less than 12.....
A 12 guage wire can take 60 amps and a 10 gauge wire can take 100A max. Ford uses a 10ga wire on 50A fused circuits.

So generally speaking I find out the size of the fusible link (with my awesome new EVTM), determine what size wire it is protecting, and then choose the best fuse for the job?


For the sake of argument, I have a 16ga black fusible link, meaning it was probably protecting a 12ga wire, correct? Then going by this chart I found
