On the passenger side the fatter one goes on the bottom and the skinnier one on top. I would have to look at the driver side to be sure what those look like if you need info on that side as well.
Side note, I had issues with my tailgate not locking and what finally fixed it was putting a bushing on that top passenger side striker. It's half the length of the 4 front door strikers, so just cut one of those in half and you're good to go.
Bottom Tailgate pin was worn out couldn’t get strikers to line up.so I pulled tailgate off and put spare hinge on I had but forgot to put on cable.i forgot how the cable goes on if anybody has pictures of how the cable goes on that be great .

Cable is under the upper hinge bracket. You will need to unbolt all three upper nuts and pull the hinge away from the body. The cable is slipped over the lower stud.
