yeah they can stick but I'd have a quick look at the fuel pressure regulator first. if the diaphrahm fails it can dump fuel into the vacuum line which causes the same behavior.

Thank you for the tip. What would you look for, fuel in that vacuum line and/or fuel spurting out while running or key on? I moved the truck yesterday, same stuff only this time I got a CEL or at least noticed it. I'll look into it this weekend when I change out that clutch stuff on my K1500.1985 LTD Crown Victoria - SOLD

yep, vac line should be dry. if its got fuel coming out of it, the FPR is bad and gas is getting sucked through the line. its not the most common failure but it takes almost nothing to check for.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
