did the headlight relay mod on the vic today. the headlights are a good deal brighter. No before pics though. Now I guess I need some extravisions. These are probably still the original bulbs.

in process of buffing out the car... got the scratch fixed in the usual way (acetone and shop towels). need to do my "final attempt" on the side moldings. Going to epoxy the clips to the moldings and clip them to the car that way. they will NOT come off again unless removed the hard way (another collision).

The speedo is fixed. This whole time it was just that the cable itself was too long or it's sheath was too short. Either way... I trimmed the top that goes into the VSS at the trans and my speedo functions normally again. Had to shave off almost half an inch.

They are cheapy bolt-ons from autozone... but they fit perfectly since they're made for 2" pipe.

thanks for everyone that voted for the Mark for May POTM. It was fun seeing the Mark up top. Time for the next one (once Jon can get to it).

and if I remember... I'll take a pic of the new tips on the 88 when i get home.

I've decided that the 88... my daily driver... is now the battle tank. I will not fix it any more cosmetically... I will reinforce it with large objects (steel or rubber, I haven't decided quite yet, but probably both). I will only fix mechanical issues.

Lady trying to go from the left lane across to lanes to the one I was in and wouldn't let me out of her way first before trying to make the right lane. Concrete barrier at the curb... I opted to let her hit me. pisses me off no end since I just fixed all that stuff. Thankfully the G6 is short enough that it didn't bust my mirror. And yeah... the clips didn't actually break this time so the molding clipped back on... but the door is definitely warped this time.
