Got some parts ordered up...
The airbag light on the dash is flashing a code 32, meaning the clock spring is bad. That's on its way now, including new hangers and shackles, washer fluid nozzle, and some Ford key blanks to get cut. Clock spring doesn't seem to be too hard to replace, just gotta remember to discharge the airbag and check the sensors on the front. Don't wanna hook everything up and watch the bag go "POOF!"
Might even be getting a new primer bumper from a co-worker...says he has one taking up space, was on his truck for three months and was replaced by chrome.
Let the saga being. :smirk:

Productive day yesterday.
Fixed a few wiper problems. The driver's side washer sprayer was busted, so installed a new one. However, the wipers would not park, the intermittent function was useless, and they would not turn off after washing; so, I removed the motor cover and cleaned off the sliding contacts and put a little new grease in there. They work like they should now. Clock spring was replaced. Sure was a pain in the ass to remove the steering wheel without a puller, but after getting mad enough it came right offThat was probably the hardest part of the whole clock spring swap. Horn works and air bag light no longer flashes at me. And while the dash was apart, I glued the screw brackets back together for the fuel tank selector switch. It's now flush with the front of the dash again. Dome light bulb and lens replaced. New air filter and Seafoam'ed.
The truck is currently jacked up in the garage. Started to try to get the rear leaf spring hangers off...that's gonna be a lot of work and I'm usually short timed...and the rear fuel tank hinders access to the inside of the frame severely. Gonna be fun.

More little updates...
Got the title and insurance. Going into the shop next week to get inspected and then I can finally put her on the road!
Found something worrying though...haven't been started much in the past few weeks. Went down the driveway the other day and noticed the voltage meter was kinda low. Next day went to start it, and the voltage meter read nothing. Battery wouldn't even hold a charge it was that gone. Started it directly off the Marquis and it wouldn't stay running. No warning lights or nothing, so hopefully it was just a crappy battery and not the alternator...

With the crazy heat the last couple of weeks, it's not uncommon for a marginal battery to go. Extreme heat and cold is really tough on batteries.2020 Volvo XC90 T6 Momentum (Ice White / Blonde)

NEW PARTS! Pulled from EZ Pull during Scottfest, chrome grille and headlight bezels. Coworker gave me a cleaner bumper he had laying around. And within the big box is a primered stone deflector to replace the crushed one. I've got a face lift laying on the garage floor...

Face Lift!
The front end of my F150 is once again straight! Put on my junkyard chrome and my new stone deflector. Spray bombed it Ford Royal Blue with a couple quick coats of clear. Coworker gave me a free primer bumper, so before I put it on I hit it with silver enamel spray and clear to give the front end a nice clean look.
I found out just how much was damaged. Seemed like the plastic headlight panel and stone deflector took the brunt of the hit. The headlight panel is missing a few good sized chunks, but still keeps things mostly straight. The passenger side headlight assembly is a little crooked still...you can see how the bottom doesn't quite line up with the curve of the grille. The bumper brackets are slightly tweaked too, but not too much to be obnoxious.
Sanded down the "rough edges" and hit them with spray filler-primer. Sanded that back down and shot it with a few coats of the same Ford Royal Blue and then again with a coat of clear. I taped off the surrounding area to keep it looking more or less like a patch panel for now. They were calling for rain, so I didn't want to try to blend it (no idea what I'd be doing anyways) and just kept it to the wheel well. Maybe in the future will I try to redo it and even it out, but for now, it will pass inspection.
Definitely not perfect, but then neither is the truck. This will be the vehicle I use to try to learn how to do things and beat around with...
