    port sizes stock302 stock429/460 CJ429/460

Still waiting for my headers to get ceramic coated so thought someone would enjoy this.

Took some pics of port sizes.

Up for comparison is: stock302 stock429/460 and CJ429/460

I don't have anything to show for the CJ intake. Stock429/460 intake is 2.26x1.98 CJ429/460 intke is 2.60x2.24

Stock429/460 exhaust is 1.69x1.25 (shown by the gasket) CJ429/460 exhaust is 2.08x1.50

All this nice weather has me wanting to go cruising but don't think the fender wells would like it without any exhaust on the engine.

Found the pic I was looking for... I keep finding ones I thought were gone when my computer crashed.

You can see the revision of the ports by Jon Kaase.

                        tires

Here is a little taste of whats to come...
Of course the rim I chose had the incorrect back spacing. I had 2 to choose from and of course in a 50/50 bet I always come out wrong!!

Good thing I didn't mount them. One more run to Summit today and fingers crossed.

I do think I will add trim rings once all is fitted.

The cool thing about that Lincoln is that it still appears sleeper-ish. Though, I imagine that it's not all that quiet. I like the rear girdle peeking from underneath that Lincoln. People gotta be like "WTF he got a girdle for?" Then after you lift the front end off the ground when the light turns green, "oh..........oh shit!"

and THIS! ... though the counterweight that is that engine will prevent the nose from going too high.

                              LOL for a nose-lifting Lincoln!

Look at the bright side, you could be 2 weeks of delivery and 30+ dollars of shipping charges away from your nearest Summit like I am.
