Lots of times i JUST ENTER EVENTS Because i CANT WALK VERY FAR. Would like to enter the open track event. Last few times it rained on the track day.

Lets confirm the above Coney address and keep the date of June 13.
The timeframe....I think 1:00pm ( for those Members with longer drives) for the meet up time seems reasonable
I will browse/ think of something to do after we stuff our pie holes.

I know you won't be in the area on June 13th (most likely), and you have mentioned in the past that you attend the event at the Ford World Headquarters each year.
It looks like the flyer says May 31, I'll have to think about attending this event as well. I would attend as a spectator, my car is not nice enough to enter into any shows.



My vote is to keep the June 13th meet, and anyone who would like to head to the Ford event on May 31 can do that as well.

I heard from lithdoc, he would like to attend the June 13th meet.
Do we have a time that we want to meet?
I think it may help lithdoc (and others) decide if he wants to put in for the day off from work if he knows what time we plan to meet (may not need to take time off depending on our meeting time).

Possible things to do aside from crusing woodward would be the record store, Solo, which is just down the street from Athens and then there's some putt putt golf on 12 or 13 mile just off of Woodward if y'all are down for that. "Ain't never been there, they tell me it's nice."

Derek, some stellar ideas as always. Athens is a solid spot. Been craving a malt there for awhile. Let's just make sure that there won't be a private party going on that day! Nice song reference by the way.

That one is put on by Shelby American Automobile Club - Motor City Region, they must have some members/inside connections who work at Ford.
turbo2256b would be able to tell you more about it since it was his suggestion and (I think) he goes every year; I've never been to it.

Oh.. Naw, family friend used to be an engineer there, he was responsible for the layout of the 80's digital radios That was ages ago. There's a buddies near by I think and Miller's isn't far either, they serve up some great ground round...
