    Hi from the Netherlands!

    Hi,

    yesterday I bought my first Panther body car: a 1985 Mercury Grand Marquis Colony Park with almost all the options.

    I have been a US Ford enthousiast for years! And that is rare in Europe, they are not regularly sold here, just by special interest, not at a dealer.
    I also own a 1986 Mustang GT convertible (triple black).

    I bought the Mercury in Germany, where it came in 1989. It was taken from Canada (Pensylvania) by a German professor who worked in Canada. It is still in its original state, the paint is faded and mechanicaly in a good state. I drove it home for 650 km (450 miles) in just 6,5 hours. I'm now getting it registered in the Netherlands (Holland). It is going to be our daily driver.

                You can't buy anything at the local parts store. I have to use rockauto and ebay.com. There are some US specialty shops but not many. US cars is here mostly hobby stuff.

                I got a lot of hard to get parts with the car from a 1984 one which was butchered.

                This model had my special interest since it uses the 5.0 driveline and I have plenty of that already.

                  Mmmm your right, it was what the seller told me. I looked further in the title: it came from Merion PA 19066 near Philidelphia.
