    Newbie here

Hi there; I am the new owner of a 2004 Lincoln Town Car...still reading the owners' manual and other paperwork. I am also the former owner of a 1992 Crown Victoria (totalled at 45 mph...yikes), so I have an idea of just how cool these Panther platform cars are. What I'd really like is a 2-door Crown Vic, or one of those Panther wagons. Anyway, can anyone tell me if my Town Car has a cabin air filter? I've seen conflicting answers to this question. Thanks for your time!

Your manual will inform you about the filter.

Welcome, this is the place for shared knowledge. you will even find threads from some folks who find cars or parts for sale that the think others might be interested in.

The owners' manual doesn't mention a cabin air filter, so I guess there isn't one. The service writer at my local Ford agency couldn't give me an answer either way. Thus, I'll proceed on the assumption there isn't one.

Try looking it up at say, ROCKAUTO.COM and see if they list one.

            Welcome!

I loved my wagon, I could haul all kinds of stuff and it was actually the most fuel efficient car I've had... although I've only ever had box panthers.

Howdy! There isn't one, but it was designed for one, so you can refit a different one in:

01Townie, your car in the pic there is awesome. My TC is burgundy with a tan vinyl roof, and it's nice looking, but I think these cars were born to be limo black...if my car didn't have the vinyl roof I *would* have it painted glossy black.
