That car appears to be very fixable with potential to be a very nice car. Is it the victim of a title problem, or something lurking beneath the surface that makes it unworthy of repair (like a badly rusted chassis)?

Writing on the front windsheild suggests it came from a wreckers' yard of some sort. I'd still try to fix it; the common trouble areas that we can see in the picture look fine. +1 probably a victim of frame rot. But if that's the only cosmetic issue, I'd seriously try to fix it.

Car is located in North Oregon, nothing wrong with car, it is a very nice car, I'm just using the motor and tranny for another project, it's a shame to scrap it , but that's we're it's headed unfortunately, just thought I'd offer up some parts for you guys that are enthusiasts of theses cars, interior is very nice , seats look like new, all body panels are near perfect, zero rust! Only thing wrong with care is drivers taillight is broken and mounting area is slightly tweaked, bought car at auction, have a salvage title, 96,000 miles, I drove car home , drove like a dream, like I said I hate to even pull the motor and tranny out and scrap the car because it's so nice, am putting motor and tranny in a 54 for customline coupe, anyway if anybody needs any parts let me know what your looking for, o won't be pulling drive train for a couple weeks, thanks for you replies, Scott

Thanks Mainmantom, I'm a car restorer and enthusiast of close to 35 years and I know how hard I can be to find nice original parts, and forgot to mention I won't be needing the CFI fuel system, or related parts because I'm going carburetor when install in the 54 ford. Scott

North Oregon. Couldn't really be further away. Grrrr. Oh well.
1990 MGM: $50 E7 heads, HO cam, Holley SysteMAX lower intake, HO upper intake with an Explorer TB. LSC ECM. Lincoln logs into stock dual exhaust. K&N drop in air filter. Wide ratio AOD, 2400 converter with a 3.08 one tire fire out back. Car is less slow now. Then there's the '92 Beater. Dual 2.25" exhaust with shiny tips. Rumbles nice. Super slow. Burns oil too.

yeah... I wouldn't mind having an 82-87 sans engine/trans to drop something in. My WR AOD in my 88 with a silverfox VB and nice 351w would be a very nice driver. But that's a hella long way to go to get it.
