Thanks for the info. The difference is very subtle. I didn't really start thinking about it until I got out to my car and set them side by side lol oh well. She fits my car and that's all that matters I guess.

Hmmm... I brought home a couple aluminum spares I found on past harvests, but I have no idea if they are for the newer gen whale or not. I have two different kinds, but never had to use either.
