if you want to stay subtle then do the tailight bezels

I would except that completely removes all the chrome in the back. That is the only chrome trim on the rear, so blacking that out won't balance out with my front. If I had done a full black out like you did, it would, but I did the partial black.

That's a different section of the car. The rear "grill" area doesn't have much chrome, so blacking out needs to be done on the paint. Honestly I don't see much that I would like to black out in the back, except maybe the license plate hole.
