    Is that rear panel welded on? I don't remember. Maybe you could swap them...

        well i have some futer plans for my engine, and preformence now,,
        1. A set of E7 head
        2. H.O Headers
        3. H pipe
        4. 4 bbl carb and intake set up
        5. Rollar rockers (maybie 1.7 ratio)
        6. Gear Drive
        7. 2 glass pack mufflers (i have one alredy on my single exhust)
        8. a decent cam ( havent decided on what kind for sure)
        9. some good preformence wires
        10. supper coil
        11. convert to electric fan
        Hope fully i can accumulate this stuff over the winter to install next spring since i will be starting my career soon as a deisel mechanic, i only have one more month left till im done my course

          If you're talking about the panel to which the tail lights bolt up to, its not welded but, instead its bonded with that adhesive stuff if not spot welds under the glue. Best bet would be cutting and drilling the holes to line everything up and seal it all up so it dont leak.

            the fiberglass peace? that is bolted on and has that black tacky stuff to seal it...? is that what you have to change or is it the peace that it bolts to? pics of what your talking about would clarify things up a bit

              Sounds good. Also, a window tint would look great. And if it were me i'd put the other rims back on or get turbines and clean the tires. Good luck with everything.

                thanks... well i got my 79 tails in,, not to bad, the wort part was haveing to put holes in my GM oh well the tails fit now due to doing that,, just had to drill a couple new holes and extend the light socket holes,,, looks pretty good actualy,,, 88 vic, my other rims are off for the winter so thats why i have the hub caps, i have the original turbines off the car so i might clean them up and swap my tires over
