The only thing that car is really missing...Is the Mercury text on the trunk lid. It looks great though!

Can't wait to see it with the '79 fenders and skirts.

Interesting. You have an oil pressure light and a temp light, no engine light. There's 2 missing at the top too...can't remember what all lights Mercs have now, been awhile...

Oh and if you want "'79 tails" you'll have to paint the lic plate mount between the tails and reverse lights body color. :p If you can get them to fit, that is..

Why did you remove the rims you had on it?
And you need to get dual exhaust on that thing ASAP.

ya i think the 79 tails should fit cause the body behind it on both cars look the same,
The 2 idiot lites missing are washer fluid and low fule, and i think the oil light is the same as the engine light...

I tried to fit them on my '84, dude...the holes dont line up.

the holes for the mounting bolts? or the bulb's? cause the hole for the bulbs look the same

dose anyone else know if there is a difference between a '79-'82 rear taillight mounting holes, and '84-'87 taillight mounting and bulb holes?
