Thanks. And I have no idea. I would suspect them to interchange though. But don't hold me to it.

        3g Preparation

Prepped the voltage regulator plug and tapped the upper hole to accept a 7/16 threaded bolt. Now I need good weather to install this thing.

so now you only have to connect the green/red wire? what do you connect it too? this is prolly the one and only thing i dont understand for some reason, the 3G setup lol...weird eh?lol

yes all you would have to do (in my case above) is connect the green and red wire to the cars existing green and red wire. You can use the existing voltage regulator plug and just make up a spade connector to fit into the stator spot (in the middle of the three connections (voltage regulator, stator, charging stud)).

You should find that green wire all by its lonesome, split off right about where you un-plug the charge wires over close to the fender well. If you snip it past the connector it should let you remove a big chunk of the old alt. wiring mess pretty cleanly.
A longer belt should fit that pulley fine, but a smaller pulley will give you better idle charge.

                New Heater Core

While driving home today smoke started coming out from underneath my dash so my dad bypassed the core for me and we picked up the new core that was ordered the other day. I still have to pressure test it to make sure that it is leak proof. Will probably install it in the next few weeks. At least the core is bypassed now and I don't have to worry about the core blowing further.

Well turns out the Taurus pulley and the Mustang pulley are practically identical so i am just going to leave the new pulley on the alternator. The first picture is with the Taurus pulley placed on top of the stock pulley.

                        3g Alternator Upgrade

My old 2g couldn't keep up with the demand of the car anymore so I knew I needed to get this done. The alternator is from a 1995 Mustang GT and it fit right in like a glove, no problems whatsoever. Install was easy and the results were well worth the amount of time it took to get everything to my liking. I used a LittleFuse mega fuse block holder and attached it to the plastic inner fender underneath my under hood fuse box. I used a Taurus charge cable and made the cables custom lengths from alternator to fuse block and fuse block to fuse box. Staying steady above 13volts with many accessories on. I will clean up all of the wiring another day...My back is killing me!

The 3g in place. I used a 510k6 belt which just means a 51 inch belt that is 6 ribbed. It just fits..

Two shots of the mega fuse block. It looks really stock:

And the final connection at the under hood fuse box:

You might want to get a shorter belt. Once it breaks in it won't be tight enough anymore.
