    UPDATE!

Found a good running DOHC 4.6, but it's in Michigan. Price is right, and shipping shouldn't be much. Wish me luck!

i'm tellin you, find a complete wrecked mark 8. would be much cheaper to do that then just get the motor, then buy the suspension and wiring separate. Complete car gives you all that in one shot, then you scrap the remains.

People want a damned arm and a leg for wrecked mark 8's, parts cars, or even those with some defects. I can't win.

            I don't know what year 4.6 you're looking for, but I just seen this http://stlouis.craigslist.org/cto/2514737353.html for $900

http://stlouis.craigslist.org/cto/2525282098.html & this for $1550. Do the MKVIII's have an aluminum IRS? Otherwise I would get a dirt cheap MN12 with a 4.6.

I believe he is wanting the dohc 4.6 from a mark viii for the teksid block. Correct me if I'm wrong Tom, I don't know my modulars that well.

I want the Teksid. They are the shizzle. And aluminum. Sweet!!
I'll let you know when a Mk8 ends up at Tonys.
There's another upull up here that usually has mk8s in it. They charge about 125 for the motors, If you pull it. If you want to rebuild, this is the way to go.
(If you wanted one from up here, that would give me a reason to put a hitch on the Tank like I've wanted to. Plus road trip)

Got a good condition pair of doors and tailgate today. Had to drive a ways for them, but 50 bucks is a steal

More inspiration pics. I plan on doing this with the grille, same general ride height, and same style of wheel (have in stock).

                    No trim, though.

That is a very pretty truck. Easy to be inspired by that.

Are you going to run 17's or 18's on the wheels?

I have a set of 17" 05+ Bullitts that came off my GMQ. I'm going to use them.

That is going to be a wicked truck! That 03+ Crown Vic front suspension is a sweet set up to swap into the Ford trucks.

Hey are there any parts you need off my 78 F150? I'm going to be tearing the body off it within the next week or two here. If you need anything just let me know.

                                Ted,

If you come across the following items:

                                Ford Sport Steering Wheel
Tilt column from a 4 speed truck

And that's about it. Everything else, I can get readily. Thanks mang!
