Got any pics of the LED's in the tail light housings? Sequential LED tail lights have been floating around in my head for awhile.

Maybe I don't need to see them, at 60 bucks a pop.

Never mind, that is the "I should save my money instead of spending it on my car" voice talking.
1990 MGM: $50 E7 heads, HO cam, Holley SysteMAX lower intake, HO upper intake with an Explorer TB. LSC ECM. Lincoln logs into stock dual exhaust. K&N drop in air filter. Wide ratio AOD, 2400 converter with a 3.08 one tire fire out back. Car is less slow now. Then there's the '92 Beater. Dual 2.25" exhaust with shiny tips. Rumbles nice. Super slow. Burns oil too.

Where on the mirror glass did you pry on, to pop it out?

box mirrors (NOT LINCOLN) just pop out. I used my panel puller since it gives a wider area, but a flat screwdriver works too. Lincolns are different. You have to break the glass to get those out. F! that noise.

I gave it some heat gun treatment to soften up the silicone in the back and then just popped them off with a flat head.

I haven't installed them yet, so don't have any pics at the moment. I will post them once I have them installed.

I wasn't thinking of removing the glass from the plastic... though... yeah... heat.

I guess you don't really have to remove the glass. I am sure if you are careful enough you could cut the plastic piece out with a dremel to install the LEDs from the back.

that's what I was thinking. Maybe use a flat bit and a drill press with a stop engaged.

Spring is here which means time to work on the car again...today I picked up a 2007 Vic roller that will be used for 03+ frame swap. I wanted to have a tudor 4.6 box with 03+ chassis so this will finally happen.
