Glad you got back without issue. Header panel aside that thing is mint in person.

Swapped on the newer header panel and nice looking repo headlights today. Not bad for 45 metric dollars.
Some day I'll order the proper color so it matches, though I might try to fiberglass the original 92 panel back together.

Aero Vic's look so goofy from the front.

Fluid Film kit finally showed up. My buddy just did his Citation with it and it came out great. Really good stuff, very easy to spray, doesn't drip, and half the price of paying someone to do it. Hopefully it will stop raining and break 35 degrees in the next few days.

I used that kit on the Escort last year. Worked very well for me.

These 90's full size cars get great mileage for their size and weight. Buddy of mine drove from St Louis to KC in his 95 Impala SS and averaged 27.7mpg which surprised me considering the LT-1 isn't exactly built for economy.

Our old 06 (I think) Econoline 4.6 would get 18 or 19 regularly, not bad for a heavy van.

Finally did some maintenance on it, new plugs, plug wires, PCV valve, and cleaned the IAC and MAF.
Plug wires were thrown in with the header panel and lights I bought, nearly new NGK's, plugs were some closeout motorcrafts for 75 cents a pop on RA, so this was a $6 tune up.
Old plugs looked surprisingly good still, and I'm surprised how clean this engine is, throttle body looked brand new inside.

Can no one get their air filter box to close properly? I thought I was the only one with that issue!

No. Those air boxes truly suck for that.

Mine takes just a tiny bit of persuasion to close right.
1990 MGM: $50 E7 heads, HO cam, Holley SysteMAX lower intake, HO upper intake with an Explorer TB. LSC ECM. Lincoln logs into stock dual exhaust. K&N drop in air filter. Wide ratio AOD, 2400 converter with a 3.08 one tire fire out back. Car is less slow now. Then there's the '92 Beater. Dual 2.25" exhaust with shiny tips. Rumbles nice. Super slow. Burns oil too.
