easier said than done... dont nobody junk a classic like that around here... Ive only seen just run of the mill boxes mostly, few cop cars. Thats one thing I forgot to look for at that huge junkyard during scottfest... I think there was one there too. (its like a "box" continental right???)

i love those pedals, i dunno why.. has that nostalic big old car look to them, esp the "disc brakes"

BTW those are not the same ones from the Mark VI, those are from a late 60-s F/S Ford according to the seller. the brake pedal is larger than the original so i need to make a special backing plate for it. the gas pedal is the same, but its metal instead of our cheap plastic one. e-brake is the same size

oh and Pete, your gonna love one of my new LED ideas that i'm sure you're gonna steal

They arent the same, but Mark VI's have the chrome trim that fits our pedals.

let me add 2 more things to the list:

this old siren from a '77 Lincoln:

this will be inegrated into the alarm system i am planning on making. no, not the key hole on the side, i'm going to be using a standard alarm system (most likely a 2-way paging system) and adding/changing some stuff to it.

                    and last but not least:

'86 Mustang HO plenum cover plate

yes its the authentic uber-rare '86 HO plate. i got it for FREE from my friend Pj who had it lying around his garage.. i'm helping him convert to EFI on his '68 Mustang

I ploished most of it with a bench grinder wire wheel.. looks gorgeous now (looked like shit when i first got it) except now i gotta paint the interts since that i wasnt able to polish.

eventually i'm going to paint it to match my upper HO plenum:

its still sitting in the car hole, collecting dust along with the TB and headers.

one day, i'll get to it

as far as the engine paint, dupli-color engine enamel for most of the pieces, the rest with eighter regular gloss enamel, or 3step candy apple blue

Sadly, those papes have all but rusted away and fallen off by now.
I sold it to a buddy who knows nothing about cars... I have to take a look at it tonight after he gets home from work... I'm afraid he overheated it and fried the headgaskets...
