Is here, and a little weird

I registered a little bit ago but had not posted in here yet, so now I'm introducing myself.

I had started driving with a '92 cv and loved the thing to death. Fixed it up a little with the little I knew at the time and made the whole neighborhood want the beast. Last October an older woman ran a red light while I was in st. louis and broad sided me, totaling the car. After a few months of depression, I pulled a car out of the side of the driveway we had for the longest time, which happened to be the 87 gm that I'm fixing up now. I also have a '65 cadillac hearse that I have been working on for about a year now. I guess you can say I always have something to work on!

I thought it was one of the "hot" features

I've heard many times that 92s like to get rather warm/overheat... especially around here in the middle of summer rush-hour traffic. I know a few that replaced the stock radiator with one twice as thick (iirc) to combat the air flow blocker.

          still a nice car though.

              Anywho,
Well, if they are moving they are fine. The airflow is crucially obtained from just the bumper but when sitting in traffic there is no where near the open surface area on the radiator, as a grilled car would be; if that makes any sense I didn't bother to re-read and is a nominee for bullshit.

I had a problem with the 92 I had a few years ago. Is you are moving then your fine but when you sit and idle, particularly in hotter states like here in Florida the temp will climb quickly. Mine overheated several times while I had it.
