    Greetings from Western New York!!!!

Hi everyone! Joined this site because I absolutely love my 02! It's got 87xxx miles and I'm the third owner. First owner was a 91 yr old lady, second was my mechanic who changed all the fluids and wear parts while he had it, then sold it to my wife and I for a steal; $3500!!! This car is mint and my wife and I both baby it, and we get 21 mpg average in city driving as a result. But don't let the pretty picture fool you, road salt has taken its toll on the underside. Will oil it up before this next winter, along with a few other things. I've got a trac lok unit I'll be installing in the next week or two and some 16 inch steelies with studded snows. Some sand bags and remote start as well. I always like to be prepared for what mother nature has to offer. Also, my marq has air ride in the rear. Do any of you think the front end sits to low? Suspension is all stock but that kind of peaked my curiosity. Click image for larger version

    Welcome.

I personally think that the front end is at a perfect height, it is the rear that is awfully high.

I'm from Rochester, NY. What do you think could be causing the high rear end? Could it have something to do with the air ride suspension?

the level sensor or the level adjustment are out. how to fix either, I dunno since I've never played with that. I know there's posts about that somewhere in the forums.

It's not that high, my 04 sits about the same. Was that picture taken with the car running? If so it's perfect. My 04 drops a good 1.5 to 2 inches in the rear after I shut the door.

All you have to do is lower the arm for the sensor.
It's not very difficult at all.

Also, we're having a meet next Saturday, the 7th at Quaker Steak N Lube (exit 49 off the 90)
If your interested in food and parking lot BS-ing.

Thanks for the info guys! I think I had just turned the car off when I took the pic. I think I will leave the level alone. Seems on par with other Grand Marqs. Sorry for the late reply. I just moved last weeks and I'm in the process of starting a small business so things have been hectic.
