If the connector is shot and you can't plug the new one in, just use a crimp connector or some sort of generic male/female bullet looking connectors.

yep. You can remove the sensor with the socket, just let some PB blaster soak on it and be easy with it.

Prolly just me but I wouldnt use it, just cut the old sensor wire off and put on a good deep well socket to bust it loose. Reason being cause generaly O2 sensors are always stuck and takes alot of torque to bust one loose. The special socket has a cut in it for the wire which may be a weak spot and break if you try to bust the old one off. Thats my reasoning, but I'll never have to worry about O2 sensors again!!!

For the wire do what gadget said and put in some nice new bullit type connectors.

+1 on the PB blaster mang, You'll probably be alright using the O2 socket. I'm just wierd and have a tendency to break things all the damn time.

I find that my car is sensitive to where I fill up. I used to fill up at Sheetz for the convience of where it was and a surcharge free ATM...But I was told from a nearby Ford mechanic / restoration guy...That Sheetz's gas sucks...

So now, I go to Weis...And get better gas mileage than I did before, and my exhaust doesn't smell so much like gasoline as it did before.
