      Tom- you're already doing a 351C, stick to the plan. Let Dave do the 400 and ya'll can duke it out once you're done.
      2011 Mustang GT Premium, MT82, Kona/Saddle, HIDs, 3.73s, 19s, hood/side stripes, UPR 1.5" springs with adjustable panhard bar, and UMI solid LCAs and relocation brackets.
      1992 Explorer Eddie Bauer, slight lift, 34s, and A/C...
      1979 Bronco Custom, 351M/C6/NP205, 4" lift, 35s, lots of fender trimming.

            I think you'd need more than even a TKO for that.

            Good luck getting Tom to run anything that requires a computer!!

              450HP+ would be easy.

              You can bolt a C6 or a C4 up to a 400 with the correct belhousing.

                      well if i do this it probly won't be till next summer, ill just pull to 400 out of the lincoln and clean it up, so next summer i could just drop it in,,

                          There are no AODs that will bolt to the 400M. I looked into that a while ago. Nothing fits. Only the C6 and FMXs will bolt up.

                            If the 400 has a 460 bellhousing pattern then he can use the F350 AOD (not sure which it was)- it was a 460/AOD (I think E4OD) combo, if I remember correctly.

                              Pretty sure it was different. I looked hard, but that was 5+ years ago, maybe someone figured it out

                                Maybe nobody makes anything for the 400M, but you can get an AOD with a 400 Ford bellhousing (same as 429/460) pattern from several of the trans shops.
