    fordgirls vic engine swap time

    got a little time this weekend to get another 5.0 together for fordgirls vic.
    we are using the shortblock out of mrltd's wagon, and a set of e7 heads, a ported lower, a ho cam (sorry tom we used your cam again hehe) i ordered new motor mounts, pintile caps for the injectors, new water pump, timing set (i got a set from advance that has the 3 keyways for the crank gear......we advanced the camshaft 4 degrees........the vic is getting all new belts and hoses, tune up parts, headers, motorsport off road pipe, mustang midpipes with extensions, thrush turbo mufflers, and impala ss tailpipes.......hopefully all will go well......this is a low buck project......more mods in the future........well i got a mark 7 lsc to do some mods to, then maybe this weekend i will get the new engine installed........thank you gadget for your help this weekend! and karen helped out alot also

    1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt

    1989 Ford F-250 4x4 much much more to come, sefi converted so far.
    1986 Toyota pickup with LSC wheels and 225/60/16 tires.
    2008 Hyundai Elantra future Revcon toad
    1987 TriBurner and 1986 Alaska stokers keeping me warm. (and some pesky oil heat)

          no, you'll still be a ho :lol:


          You need to start buying the Blue Streak cap and rotors to spice up the engine bay with a little more ford blue

                          Rotor for those doesn't work on the EEC IV distributor for whatever reason. I think its the rotor for the semi rare Duraspark dist that takes the big cap.

                            Hope you kept the valve cover gaskets....those were friggin expensive, and BRAND new...(reuseable Ford steel/rubber ones)
