    high idle not working

This has been a problem for a long time, but i figure i will ask about it now, sometimes my high idle will work but moast times it won't i adjusted the screw on the high idle rod on the choke but it dident seem to help,, i also have a nother problem with it idleing to high when its warmed up, any one have any ideas to correct this?

sounds like the choke linkage isnt working properly, and its sticking when cold to not engage the high idle cam, and sticking when warm to not disengage the high idle cam

yeah - next time its cold take off the air cleaner and play with the throttle. You should be able to see how/if the high idle catches, then once its warmed up, how/if it relases.
Not coming off high idle sound like the choke is sticking or the choke heater isnt working (the carbs got choke heaters right?)
The auto-pulloff doesnt have to work, since once its warmed up you should be able to drop the idle by tapping the gas so the choke can relase.

Yeah, the carbs got heaters. I think he has a manual choke on his car tho.
