65-70 only in OD if I run it in drive it goes away. But if you rev the engine in park or neutral it will do it within a certain rpm range, and what exactly is the lopo miss? As hard as this thing jerks when it does it and the fact that it didnt used to do it makes me see it as not at all normal. This weekend im gonna check the fuel pressure and and look at the plugs even though there only 6 months old I figure if that doesnt help me then theres nothing I can do.
Yeah about two weeks ago dizzy/module/cap/and rotor. Ac cardone reman dizzy, motorcraft module, msd cap and rotor. The ford racing wires are about 3 months old, and the plugs and msd coil are about 6 months old. Im still thinking fuel pressure or a clogged injector.
Well after however long ive been searching ive finally narrowed this thing down cylinder #8 plug wire was bad. $45 ford racing wires were bad from the day they were new. I bought a $22 set of napa wires and voila no more miss yay.
As much as I hate to say it I only fixed it for 10 miles its still there and as bad as ever. Sometimes once every few miles and sometimes it misses so fast you think its gonna explode Im starting to point fingers at the computer. Because how in the world would a dirty injector cause it to be intermittent? Also I havent checked fuel pressure yet because I havent been able to talk myself into buying a $53 gauge ill only use once. One other thing I thought of and keep forgetting about whats the chance that cleaning the salt and pepper shakers might help me? I've hear they can cause strange problems but I keep forgetting about them.
check #8 plug again. my old '91 colony park would foul #8 all the time. was a wore out oil ring. but dont trip, thats worse case.

2011 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor (Down with O.P.P)
After reading some more I think its the fuel injector because its not actually fouling the plug the plug just looks like #8 has been running too lean. Also it never ever uses any oil between changes and there was no oil on the old plug.
I just went out and checked the new #8 plug its been in there about a week and it looks fine. Could the computer possibly not be telling #8 to fire at a certain rpm range but only ocassionally? Or should I go with my fuel injector whim?
In your fuel pressure regulator (FPR) post you felt comfortable in ruling out the FPR because you had good pressure (37psi) and even more when you disconnected the vac line. I think you should clean each individual injector manually or buy new Ford ones. There were also 2 other emission related items that you haven't replaced yet. Maybe this warrants checking those items also. Double check one more time how it drives w/ the green EGR vac line disconnected too.
