      Yep, socket and a flex joint. Cheaper and more useful than a distributor wrench too. Dwell tachs make a useful tachometer for setting idle and troubleshooting things, but the dwell side of it is worthless with electronic ignition. The good part is that they're just about free and still make a useful tachometer.

              Like i said i got a timing light comeing it's a penske timing light, i tried my Snap on Flex joint, and it was a no go ;-/ Eh.... I did find a distributor wrench on ebay for 10$ with a life time warenty Im thinking about getting that...


              Any how i hope this fixes that god dern popin shit. oooo, when i pulled my plug's Acording to my book.i got preignition... So yea hopefully the timing light will fix it.

Could this be from the timing as well, or is this a indacation of a Engine overhaul? Any how i thank you guys verry much :::: End edit :::

                                SPOUT is hanging from the distributor wiring harness, its a small black plug probably within a few inches of the big grey TFI plug. Either that, or it looks like an in-line fuse connector, also in that wiring harness near the distributor.
