    Quaker State Oil

    I've seen this Quaker State Peak Performance oil...it claims that it reduces friction...
    anyone know if it makes any difference or is there any other oils out there that do the same thing?

    Oils function is to reduce friction...they all do..

      Just pick a brand and stick with it. I use Valvoline SynPower synthetic motor oil (5W30 and my motor doesn't leak).

        I use rotella T 15w40. Works good for me.

                I've had good luck with Valvoline Max Life and Castrol GTX high mileage.
                I'll stick with those.

                  i dont care for any quaker state oil.......i use the supertech or the supertech synthetic or advance oil......i'm thrifty hehe

                  1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt

                  1986 Toyota pickup with LSC wheels and 225/60/16 tires.

                          I run Mobil1 in my Neon and Castrol GTX High-Mileage in my T-bird 5.0. I've never and will never use Quaker State. Lotta car guys around here call it Quaker Sludge.

                              Valvoline conventional or Mobil1 synthetic for me. Nowadays it's pretty much the same and really good product, so it doesn't really matter. Unless you are doing some hardcore racing or running forced induction.
