    Thermostat housing

I know one of those bolts is a bitch to get at, on the SEFI cars. What kinda tool do I need to make life easier?

Ratcheting wrench worked...to get it loose and to tighten it, yay 18 bucks for a wrench I barely used.

BUT, the thermostat is replaced and it's still overheating. What's next? Radiator? Waterpump?

How fast does it overheat? Could be plugged radiator and/or bad fan clutch. The water pumps usually don't fail internally, mostly its just the seal or the bearing that goes out. Usually they keep on pumping even while puking water like mad.

It took awhile. I drove it around for a little before I saw it puking again. I'm gonna get a new cap, see if that helps. Then I'll go for a radiator.

Also, yea the fan clutch is bad. It's been like that since I got the car how many years ago. It's on the list lol

I'm an idiot. I just replaced the radiator in the wagon, so I can use that. Plus the cap is good...so, it should be fixed tomorrow....I HOPE.

i wish that they didnt have plaxstic ends or i would solder mine so=ince it is leaking from the radiator on the passenger top side. i need to flush the system and put a different radiator in Baby. i just helped a panther owner on the road out yesterday, monday. they had a blown radiator hose and they were surprised i had one. i told them i stock up parts to fix my big ford. thatey had a 1989 TC.
