quick question when does the amp light turn on? does it turn on say if the alt stops charging? overcharging? reason why I'm asking is because my 2g took a shit yesterday ending up missing class today because I had to take the bus to pep boys to get alt then fix. ps don't' worry my harness did not catch on fire

Usually they come on if the alternator isn't charging, or if there is a bad/no connection between the battery and the alternator. You sure that the fuse link didn't fail? Is the plug in good shape? I'll check the fuse link well I put the new one on yesterday the amp light did not come on gonna check the harness for the fuse link. god I hate these 2g alt harness lol
