    Headlight Switch

I just replaced the headlight switch on my 89' CV and I found somethings I wanted to share with others attempting it. The Hayes manual is vauge. I took half the dash apart before I found the trick. The manual says to lower the switch out of the dash but a few large bundles of wires prevents this. There is a 11 or 12 mm bolt behind the kick panel next to the hood release and screws under the dashpad by the defrost vent. Once these are removed the drivers side end of the dash can be pulled out enough to pull the switch out the side. This is much easier and would save much hassle and crawling around upside down.

I'll keep that in mind if i ever have to do this job again. But i did make out fine without unbolting anything.
