    replace a remote for remote starter?

    Can you have the remote replaced? The one I have is fubared...still have it, it just doesn't work. The remote start was in the car before I bought it so I have no idea what shop installed it so taking it back there isn't an option really.



    I know it's just a matter of having the right frequency but I'd imagine they want to make figuring out the frequency not very easy.

      I'd try to find the brain box, look for a manufacturer and part number, and try to contact them.

        post up what make and model remote start you have. im sure we can find you a replacement somewhere.

        youll just have to program the fob once you get it.
