    Interior LED lights?

I installed interior LED lights a few month ago, and all of a sudden, they are staying on, altho real dim. I have checked all of the door switches, Found one that was acting like it wasn't working right, due to the adjustment. I re adjusted it, and they went out, like they are supposed to do. a few days later, they started doing it again. I checked the other doors, found another door switch out of adjustment, adjusted it, and they went off for about 1 day, and started doing the same thing all over. This time, no matter what I do, they will stay on, real dim. So I took the LED lights out, installed the regular bulbs, and the lights went out when you shut the door like they are supposed to do...
Also, after I adjusted the door switches, I glued them so they could not slip back down into the door jamb again. (Causing the lights to come one)

Another thing I noticed was evidently, the Sheriff's Office cut the wiring harness on the drivers door jamb switch, then re-attached it. I am going to check it to make sure there isn't a bad connection there, by resplicing the connections, and use some marine grade heat shrink on each crimp terminal when I redo it.

Anyone have this problem before? Could it be a problem with the wiring where the Sheriff's Office cut and re-attached it? Maybe a bad ground?

    This has me puzzled!

I had the problem of the interior LEDs staying on, very dim, when all doors were closed. Replaced the door switches and left one bad one unplugged, no problems since.

Guess I'll try that, and check the wiring on that one switch. Until then, i'll keep the bulbs in there... since they don't seem to be as sensitive.... And they don't come on like the LED's do....

Yup, just unplug it and let the harness float around inside the door somewhere. Stick the switch back in place and close the door gently and you're golden.
