hehe, yeah, too bad it could beat the crown in a race. It has a 360 out of a jeep, rear traction bars, police handling package off of an ambassador, and leather racing seats. But enough about that.

I have decided to save every penny i earn from now until i get these parts:
            Wheels/tires
            140 Speedo
replacement front end (off of a 79 I hope)
            dual exhaust

the exhaust i can get from the store my dad works at, i i have the money set aside for wheels, ill get those in the spring. BUt as far as the speedo and the grille and hedlight bezels go, im at the mercy of the salvage yard. My goal is to come up with these parts and debut the new look at prom in early may.

he does sometimes, like the stuff i dont know how to do, but he teaches me a along the way so i can do it in the future. He helped me dismantle the engine when i put the valve covers on, and now i know how to rebuild the entire top end. He's taught me just about everything on this car. Some things I picked up on my own, I redid the suspension myself along with the tailights, but as far a internally goes, hes had to walk me through it, then he would take it apart again and make me put back together again.

well im currently in progress with what will hopefully end up being a 79 Landau Grille In my possesion. I saw 83countrysquire's vic with the new wheels and completely fell in love with it. I cant afford torque thrusts so Ill just get these instead:

17x8 with 4.5" backspacing. Should look killer when done.

no they are coys c-5's, and thanks for the link for the tires! The cheapest I could find were $130! That will save me 240 bucks!

Last night I took the cheap speakers out of the dash and left the ones in the door and the rear in. My put the dash speakers back in eventually, but thats only if I get subs (metallica really makes those small speakers sound like crap lol)

If at all possible, can this thread be closed? Or just no one post in it anymore? Im moving to a more organized thread with all my ideas combined into one post, along with a name change. When the girl you are taking to prom tells you she likes a different name for the car, you should probably listen, Now i just have to update cardomain
