    She's baaaack!

Well it has been another fun filled week with Moby 2. The original water pump (yes I said original) went kapoof. Bolts or whatever it is that holds it in place broke when they tried to get the pump off. Age, rust did them in. The repair shop finally found new bolts and today we got er back. Please God let this be the end. Here she is back home, thank God.

I have been told that is the original grill and the rims are also. When we are able to save up some we want to get the rims shined up. We really don't want to change them out since they are original.

the wheels were a factory option... that grill looks like a dealer option.

Yep, 50th anniversary edition that the dealer jazzed up. My 50th anniversary edition does not have that grille though, I guess the original dealer that sold mine didn't want to put the extra time/money into getting that grille, but they did have the roof redone in cloth similar to this one and I do have the gold 50th anniversary medallion on the C-piller and various other gold 50th anniversary emblems on mine.

Vick, I would love to see pics of the emblems you have. The medallions are the only ones we have. Thanks.

That is really one beautiful ride. The cloth top, the MAGNIFICENT grille, turbines with bright white walls on the tires. I'm glad this is in you're guys's hands and not someone who would assign it to DD duty and forget about the maintenance until it craps out on them.

                            Seriously though... that grille!
