      Bah, who cares. My hot rod has a salvage title, because previously in its life it was towed, and the tow company took ownership of it, which brands it with a salvage title. Even if there is nothing wrong with it.

      The only thing a salvage title matters for is when you sell it. Some states will let you get the repaired vehicle inspected and REMOVE the savage designation off the title even!

              people don't care around here. When I was running the push bar I just got waves from cops more often.

              wiped the driver side down and rattle canned the exposed metal to prevent major rust issues down the road...

                scored the needed wheels at a yard (last 2 not totally rusted steelies they had). One is a spare from an aero and has the silver wheel (might be from a ranger/sploder) but will fit, is 15" and has the correct offset (will be used for the spare). Also scored a 90TC fan shroud and coolant tank for the Mark, an aero washer tank for the 88 and relay box and power distribution box for other electrical stuff for projects between the vic and 88.

                also, if anyone wants to help "build" the Mad Marquis... help me find some bumpers that will mount to a box that are menacing like truck bumpers.

                      I was thinking even meaner than that pushbar... like a full diamond plate bumper and grill guard for an old 8th gen F150. The look is about right for what I'm thinking of though. nice patina and the not a fuck given look.

                              I might still have the diamond plated front bumper from the '53 F-250 laying around. My father built it for that purpose. The rear bumper had to be torched because it was massive. It sustained a 50+mph impact that had 2 other cars running into the back of the guy that hit my father. Not a problem; except for the Jeep Wrangler, which was totalled.

                                heh... I'm thinking some flat black and yeah. I do want to keep it to the lighter side of evil so I don't kill my gas mileage, or the transmission.
