thinking about putting some iron on symbols on my seats anyone now if an iron will melt the veloursih material

I wouldn't imagine iron-on stuff would hold up too well on seats, and I really don't think it would adhere to velour too well. Lots of pleats and ripples in the seats too would make it very difficult to get a good smooth area for a transfer.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

Probably have an easier time sewing them to the seats. I'm working on sewing a section of material over the gaping hole on my driver's side leather seat. Not going to look pretty but it will help keep the hole from getting bigger plus finding grey leather seats in great condition is near impossible. Use a curved needle to get the thread through the seat otherwise it won't go through, I tried allready with a regular needle.Current rides - 1991 Ford Thunderbird 3.8 v6 (gas saver/DD) - New Heads/Headgaskets with ARP studs, Air Silencer Delete, 70mm MAF, Plasti-dipped Matte Black with a Silver Metalflake Overlay, Muffler Delete, some LED's, 30.233 MPG for high MPG average!
