So, were you satisfied with the results using the scratch x by hand followed with the cleaner wax as I mentioned, Colin? It sure looks good on this end!

Oh, and if you want it to pop even more put a coat of that deep crystal #2 polish you have in the trunk over the cleaner wax, and last a coat of the deep crystal #3 wax (similar to #24 mentioned before, you don't need to do the whole car with the polish and wax toppers, just the upper half really.) - then it should really pop, as much as a non-metallic light color can that is!
yeah its waaaaaay much better . unfortunately the hood of my car didn't turn out to well as the roof and teh trunk and i don't know why. ill post pics tomorrow (i hope i accidentally left my new $300 camera outside and it rain...it still works but condensations is everywhere.) also will have to clay the car next week to get all the small particles out.

      thanx Drock and Rojas.

hmm..maybe I will use the polish and then the wax...I think I still got that stuff left....but I'm pretty satisfied now...but maybe I'll just do the trunk, see if the shine gets deeper.
      thanx for the advice.
should I do the scratchX and Cleaner Wax to the rest of the car?
and I should say..should I then follow up with the polish and wax?

Did you use clay bar? Or did you just wash+wax?

if your talking about my car i washed it,turtle wax mild polish, then Maguires scratch x, and Maguires cleaner wax(2 coat). thats my recipe. and Im going to clay my car next week to get out the small particles that settle between waxes.

                    Definitely

Coming from what it was before, that is a remarkable improvement. Great work!

Damn Colin, your's is probably as shiny as mine now!

You can if you want. It's really only the upper, flat panels that you will really notice the difference.

yea, Drock...Rojas sure did an AWESOME job...world of difference.
I tried to use some on Bobert's trunk....nothing...didnt do anything...the paint "soaked" it in. made it kinda smooth but didnt change the appearance.

lol...I dont know if its as good as yours Drock...but I try.
you can still see tiny clearcoat scratches..but they're very minor and I dont think anyone passing by would point them out.
Woodward Cruise is next week/weekend....so I gots to have it shinay!
I'll be sure to get plenty of pics for u guys.
